ABOUT

Born in Ural, located on the border of Europe and Asia, Russia. Anna also spent her childhood in a small town located on the Black Sea shore.

From an early age, she spent a lot of time in the home photo studio of her dad, who was a professional photographer, along with being with him in the field.

This early passion led to graduation from Art school in her home city, which was later paired with studying the History of Art at Moscow State University.

In 2014, she moved to New York to continue working as a commercial photographer along with shooting private art series.

Her visual language embodies a synthesis of artistic traits: the vibrant and powerful energy of the big city, the calmness of the sea, and the harmony of the color palette inspired by French Impressionism.

The artist’s contemporary practice is defined by an ongoing dialogue between historical and modern technologies. She fluidly navigates between full-frame digital systems, instant Polaroids, and the structural depth of medium-format photography via a Hasselblad 500 °C/M. Serving as a conceptual anchor and lineage is a 35-year-old family heirloom — a 35mm Zenit film camera.

Now operating from Florida, she continues to expand her practice through international travel and global documentation.
